To whom it may concern;
Due to the ever deteriorating structure of the Episcopal Church and the furthering of it's doctrine from my personal beliefs, starting with the indoctrination of female Priests, the acknowledgment of "gay unions", the statements in sermons and worship of "our mother who..", "...in her name" etc., the immoral conduct of some of the church elders and finishing with the election of an "openly gay" Bishop. I have no choice, other than to formally request, you remove my name from any membership, support or sponsorship roster within St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Archdiocese.
This is painful for me, as I was born and raised at St. Gabriel's. My parents were baptized and married in the Church. My Grand Parents made it possible to build the Chapel and Rectory. I attended my Grand Fathers baptism, his, my Grandmother's and Uncle Art's funerals at St. Gabriel's. I met the only girl I'll ever be in love with there. I have many good memories of the Church and it's people, but can no longer have my good name and what I stand for, associated with your denominations beliefs or more accurately, disbeliefs.

p.s., I may have missed something, but....
Who gave you the right to remove my Grand Fathers, Mountain Ash Memorial Tree form the side yard he and my Grand Mother gave the Church? And furthermore, what about your lack of respect in not contacting the family, who may have enjoyed receiving clippings from it before it's removal. We have trees grown from clippings of all the other trees he planted.
... Oh, that's right, he didn't plant that one, we did, in his memory.....
